The Glazed Nut




The Main Prize. The Biggun’. The Large Farva. The Grand Ol’ Opry. The Great Mostaccioli. The Wooly Mammoth. You get the idea. The Glazed Nut trophy is what everyone in the IFL covets. Created by our friends at Far Out Awards, the Glazed Nut was first introduced to the IFL in 2017. 

The Banana Trophy




First introduced in 2019, the Banana Trophy is awarded to the League Runner-Up. The Banana was chosen by the IFL because a banana is a healthy breakfast alternative to a glazed donut. 

The Donut Hole



"It's The Quality!" Really, the lack of quality. This distinction is used both for being in last place at any given point in the season, as well as the crowning achievement of finishing last overall. 

The Ring Leader



Ring Leader, get it? Like a Donut Ring? Anyway, The Ring Leader is the team that is currently sitting in first place during the regular season. 

The Towelie



Don't forget to bring a towel! While not a tangible prize, the Towelie is awarded each week in the regular season to the team that scores the highest amount of points. You're so high, Towelie. 

The Griffin



Renamed after a disastrous series of performances by GriffNewton in 2018, the dubious distinction of becoming The Griffin is given to the team that scores the fewest points of the week. 

Power Bottom Four



Obviously a place that that one does not want to be, the Power Bottom Four is reserved for the four teams that are eligible for the end of the season title of The Donut Hole. One of the Power Bottom Four is guaranteed to earn that distinction. 

The Continental Club



The Continental Club is a distinction in name only, given to those in the league that have won the Howard Johnson continental breakfast by earning both The Glazed Nut and the Banana Trophy. To date, there are two teams dancing in the club: The Real Jerks and Hurricane Ditka. 

Donut Hole Punishments


In addition to these trophies and titles, there are punishments bestowed upon the team to finish as The Donut Hole. These are our league's modest wrist-slaps for being the season's taco.
